This project is deeply personal, shaped by my own lived experience with an ever-changing body—navigating skin conditions, cycles of weight gain and loss, and moving through periods of depression and healing. Like many of us, I’ve spent years in conversation with my reflection, learning how easy it is to critique what we see and how hard it can be to offer ourselves grace.

Temples is my way of honoring this shared human experience. The project is rooted in empathy and presence, creating space to see our bodies—our dips, grooves, textures, and so-called imperfections—in a new light. My hope is to make images that feel honest and reverent, transforming vulnerability into something quietly powerful, and inviting others to be seen as they are.
